Mike "G" Guerriero

Michael Guerriero is a dynamic and multi-faceted entertainment professional. Experienced in all areas of the music industry, Guerriero has a combination of corporate and entrepreneurial accomplishments. Constantly focused on finding hit songs and talent, he was an A&R scout for Columbia Records/Music With a Twist where several of his discoveries were signed.

As a songwriter and producer, he has written several dance hits including the #1 Billboard Dance Hit “How Can I Be Falling,” performed by Jennifer Green, and national dance radio hits “Kiss The Sky” and “You’ll Always Have Me” by Danielle Bollinger.

Guerriero is presently having international success with European sensation, Matteo Markus Bok of The Voice Kids Germany and Italia’s Got Talent fame. He wrote Bok’s singles “Sunshower” and “Miracle.”

In January of 2017, he was hired by The Garnish Music Production School in New York to design and teach a course on hit songwriting, fulfilling a lifelong dream.

He has run several successful music studios in New York City and at Atlantic Records and Warner Bros. Nashville, he used his PR and marketing skills to work on releases and provide support for acts such as Matchbox 20, Jewel, Faith Hill, among others.

He earned his BA from Pace University in 2000 with a focus on marketing and psychology, graduated with honors and was also a recruitment speaker for the University.

Mike has also had the opportunity in his career to work with such talents as Kevin Drew (Zedd/Matthew Koma), Kathy Sommer (Daughtry/Halestorm), Shontelle ("Impossible"), Rockwilder (Christina Aguilera) Chris Rojas (Pink/Backstreet), Cutfather (Jordin Sparks), Melanie Fontana (Justin Bieber/Britney Spears), Junior Vasquez (Madonna), Phill Kross (Z100), Dr. A Hawk (Wyclef), Brian Chirlo (Tony Bennett), U God of Wutang, Tiffany Giardinia (Blackbear), and more.

Michael Ellis

Michael Ellis is a veteran of more than two decades in the music industry. He began his career in radio, as a music director and assistant program director for two legendary New York radio stations, WKTU and Z100. He was the founding music director of Z100 under program director Scott Shannon.

Ellis then headed up the charts for Billboard magazine for over 15 years, introducing the revolutionary monitoring systems of BDS for radio and SoundScan for retail sales, to greatly improve the accuracy of Billboard's charts. He rose to the position of Associate Publisher of Billboard, and also founded and served as Publisher of Billboard's radio publication, Airplay Monitor.

In between his two stints at Billboard he served as VP of A&R for Mariah Carey's Crave label, distributed through Sony Music. He is well-known and respected in both the music and radio industries.

Franni Burke

Franni Burke, founder of Burke Music, was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and attended Northwestern University. She has lived mainly in N.Y.C. and Los Angeles enjoying a career as a musician. As a pop singer, she has toured and recorded with Robert Plant, Carly Simon and Lucie Arnaz. As a composer, she’s written two off Broadway shows that have played at The Matrix Theater in Los Angeles and The Orpheum Theater in New York City. Her voice clients have included Madonna, Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, Britney Spears, Aaron Carter, Justin Timberlake and many more. Franni B gives all of GEMMusic’s client’s first rate direction and takes their voices to new heights.

Seth Kessel

Both an engineer and producer, Seth Kessel has his finger on contemporary recording. With a degree from Suny Purchase’s Conservatory of Music, Seth is more than just a button pusher - he’s a great musician. Seth has worked with artists such as Method Man, Busta Rhymes, Redman, Nona Hendryx, and many more. He is presently head engineer with GEMMusic and guides all of our clients through the recording process.
